NEW DELHI, Oct 25: Copper futures fell 0.41 per cent to Rs 459.15 per kg today as speculators trimmed positions to book profits.
Muted demand from consuming industries at domestic spot market also put pressure on prices.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper for delivery in November declined by Rs 1.90, or 0.41 per cent, to Rs 459.15 per kg in a business turnover of 1,640 lots.
The metal for delivery in February next year fell Rs 1.50, or 0.32 per cent, to Rs 464.70 per kg in a business volume of 22 lots.
Analysts said apart from profit-booking, sluggish demand at domestic spot markets, led to a fall in copper prices at futures trade here. (PTI)
