NEW DELHI, June 22: Copper and lead strengthened up to Rs 3 per kg per kg on the local non-ferrous metal market today on the back of pick up in industrial demand.
Besides, a firming trend overseas also influenced metal prices, traders said.
In the national capital, copper mixed scrap rose by Rs 3 to Rs 419 per kg, while lead ingot up by Rs 2 to Rs 143 per kg.
The following are today’s metal rates per kg:
Zinc ingot 109-115, nickel plate (4×4) 1,037-1,040 gun metal scrap 227, bell metal scrap 229, copper mixed scrap 419, chadri deshi 285.
Lead ingot 143, lead imported 139, aluminium ingots 144, sheet cutting 145, aluminium wire scrap 148 and aluminium utensils scrap 144. (PTI)
