Copper, lead strengthen on rising demand

NEW DELHI, Apr 29: Prices of copper and lead strengthened by Rs 2 per kg at the non-ferrous metal market today on the back of rising demand from consuming industries.
Traders said surging demand from consuming industries at domestic spot market, mainly kept copper and lead prices higher.
In the national capital, copper mixed scrap advanced by Rs 2 to Rs 345 per kg.
Lead ingot and lead imported were also trading higher by a similar margin to Rs 95 and Rs 101 per kg, respectively.

Zinc ingot Rs 104-110, Nickel plate (4×4) Rs 790-795, gun metal scrap Rs 227, Bell metal scrap Rs 229, copper mixed scrap Rs 345, chadri deshi Rs 295.
Lead ingot Rs 95, lead imported Rs 101, aluminium ingots Rs 154, aluminium sheet cutting Rs 150, aluminium wire scrap Rs 150 and aluminium utensils scrap Rs 148. (PTI)
