Copper lower on reduced industrial offtake

NEW DELHI, Sept 20:  Copper prices edged lower by Rs 2 per kg at the local non-ferrous metal market today due to reduced offtake by consuming industries.
Traders attributed the weakness in copper prices to subdued demand from consuming industries.
In the national capital, copper mixed scrap declined by Rs 2 to Rs 432 per kg.
Following are today’s metal rates (in Rs per kg):
Zinc ingot 116-122, Nickel plate (4×4) 1,102-1,108, Gun metal scrap 227, Bell metal scrap 229, Copper mixed scrap 432, Chadri deshi 285.
Lead ingot 109, Lead imported 107, Aluminium ingots 168, Aluminium sheet cutting 169, Aluminium wire scrap 171 and Aluminium utensils scrap 168. (PTI)
