NEW DELHI, Oct 19: Copper and nickel prices rose further by Rs 2 per kg on the local non-select base metals market today on increased demand from consuming industries.
Marketmen said increased industrial demand mainly kept copper and nickel prices firm.
In the national capital, copper mixed scrap and nickel (4×4) advanced by Rs 2 each to Rs 425 and Rs 1,052-1,053 per kg, respectively.
Following are today’s metal rates per kg:
Zinc ingot 113-119, nickel plate (4×4) 1,052-1,053 gun metal scrap 227, bell metal scrap 229, copper mixed scrap 425, chadri deshi 285.
Lead ingot 148, lead imported 146, aluminium ingots 148, sheet cutting 149, aluminium wire scrap 151 and aluminium utensils scrap 148. (PTI)
