NEW DELHI, Nov 30: Prices of copper and nickel rose by Rs 2 per kg at local non-ferrous base metals market today on pick up in demand from consuming industries.
Traders said pick up in industrial demand and reports of a firm global trend mainly led to rise in copper and nickel prices.
In the national capital, copper mixed scrap and nickel (4×4) rose by Rs 2 each to Rs 434 and Rs 1,068-1,069 per kg, respectively.
The following are today’s metal rates per kg:
Zinc ingot 111-117, nickel plate (4×4) 1,068-1,069 gun metal scrap 227, bell metal scrap 229, copper mixed scrap 434, chadri deshi 285.
Lead ingot 144,lead imported 142, aluminium ingots 152, Aluminium sheet cutting 153, aluminium wire scrap 155 and aluminium utensils scrap 152. (PTI)
