Copper remains weak on reduced industrial offtake

NEW DELHI, June 28:  copper remained weak and  traded Rs 2 per kg lower at the local non-ferrous metals market today due to reduced demand from consuming industries.
Traders said reduced offtake by industrial units and a weak trend in global markets mainly kept pressure on copper prices.
In the national capital, Copper mixed scrap declined by Rs 2 to Rs 443 per kg.
Following are today’s metal rates (in Rupees per kg):
Zinc ingot 111-117, Nickel plate (4×4) 1,094-1,100, Gun metal scrap 227, Bell metal scrap 229, Copper mixed scrap 443, Chadri deshi 285.
Lead ingot 117, Lead imported 115, Aluminium ingots 155, Aluminium sheet cutting 156, Aluminium wire scrap 158 and Aluminium utensils scrap 155. (PTI)
