Copper trades lower on reduced offtake

NEW DELHI, Nov 10: Copper traded lower by Rs 2 per kg in the local non-ferrous metals market today owing to slackened demand from consuming industries amid a weak global trend.
Traders said reduced offtake by consuming industries and reports of a weak global trend mainly led to decline in copper prices.
In the national capital, copper mixed scrap declined by Rs 2 to Rs 390 per kg.
The following are metal rates per kg:
Zinc ingot 108-112, nickel plate (4×4) 1,025-1,028, gun metal scrap 227, bell metal scrap 229, copper mixed scrap 390, chadri deshi 285.
Lead ingot 133, lead imported 131, aluminium ingots 128, sheet cutting 129, aluminium wire scrap 133 and aluminium utensils scrap 128. (PTI)
