Copper weakens on low demand

NEW DELHI, Apr 1:  Copper prices declined by Rs 2 per kg at the non-ferrous metal market today owing to slackened demand from consuming industries.
Traders attributed the slide in copper prices to subdued demand from consuming industries at domestic spot market.
In the national capital, copper mixed scrap fell by Rs 2 to Rs 344 per kg.
Following are today’s metal rates (in Rs per kg):
Zinc ingot Rs 100-106, Nickel plate (4×4) Rs 787-792, gun metal scrap Rs 227, Bell metal scrap Rs 229, copper mixed scrap Rs 344, chadri deshi Rs 295.
Lead ingot Rs 89, lead imported Rs 95, aluminium ingots Rs 154, aluminium sheet cutting Rs 150, aluminium wire scrap Rs 150 and aluminium utensils scrap Rs 148. (PTI)
