DODA, May 11: Police here today in a special drive arrested five bovine smugglers and rescued 18 bovine animals from different places.
In this connection two separate FIRs have been registered at Police Station Bhaderwah and investigation was going on.
It is pertinent to mention here that in the current year Doda Police has so far registered seven FIRs against 11 bovine smugglers and rescued 27 bovine animals and seized two vehicles involved in the crime.
