POONCH, Oct 31: The dead body of Police personnel was recovered from a Nalla near Sangiote village in Harni area of Mendhar today.
Official sources said that the deceased was later identified as Police follower, Changez Khan (42), resident of Sangiote village. A villager noticed his body lying in the Nallah and informed locals and then Gursai police. It was suspected that cop died due to drowning.
A police party led by SHO Gurasi, Niaz Ahmed shifted the body for postmortem to local hospital. A case was registered in this connection and investigation started.
