RAMBAN, Aug 1: Police here today traced out a kidnapped girl.
An application was received at Police Station Gool on July 27, 2023 from one Jamal Din, son of Qadir Pachoo, resident of Gundi, Tehsil Gool, District Ramban regarding kidnapping of his daughter by some unknown persons.
On this an FIR with no. 89/2023 U/S 363 IPC was registered at Police Station Gool and a special police team was constituted to trace out the kidnapped girl. The search for the girl was carried out at different places and with the help of technical assistance, the kidnapped girl was finally traced out from Marar, Tehsil Batala in Gurdaspur, Punjab and she was reunited with her family.
The girl was traced by a police team headed by SI Mohd Ashiq Bhat under the guidance of Inspector Nazir Ahmed, SHO Gool, under the supervision of Dy.SP Nihar Ranjan, SDPO Gool with overall supervision of SSP Ramban, Mohita Sharma.
