NEW DELHI, Aug 22: Coriander and chilli traded higher by Rs 100 per quintal in the national capital today on increased buying by retailers and stockists amid low stocks.
Furthermore, fall in supplies from producing belts also supported the upside.
Coriander and chilli prices rose Rs 100 each to conclude at Rs 11,100-16,100 and Rs 8,800-15,300 per quintal, respectively.
Traders said buying support from retailers and stockists against fall in supplies from producing belts, mainly pushed up coriander and chilli prices.

Ajwain (per kg) 160-190, black pepper (per kg) 630-780, betel-nut (kg) 300-350, cardamom brown-Jhundiwali (kg) 1,730-1,750 and cardamom brown-Kanchicut (kg) 1,980-2,000.
Cardamom small (kg): Chitridar 790-850, cardamom (colour robin) 790-810, cardamom bold 800-820, cardamom extra (bold) 930-980 and cloves 720-820. (PTI)
