NEW DELHI, Nov 22: Coriander and jeera prices were up by Rs 200 per quintal in the national capital today amid fall in supplies from producing belts against fresh buying by retailers and stockists.
Coriander prices rose by Rs 200 to settle at Rs 12,500-17,300 per quintal.
Jeera common and best quality were also higher by Rs 200 each to conclude at Rs 11,300-11,500 and Rs 14,600-15,100 per quintal.
Traders said buying support from retailers and stockists against fall in supplies from producing belts pushed up coriander and jeera prices at the wholesale kirana market here.

Ajwain (per kg) 155-200, black pepper (per kg) 750-930, betel-nut (kg) 280-330, cardamom brown-Jhundiwali (kg) 1,480-1,520 and cardamom brown-Kanchicut (kg) 1,600-1,700.
Cardamom small (kg): Chitridar 760-810, cardamom (colour robin) 660-680, cardamom bold 680-710, cardamom extra (bold) 880-900 and cloves 730-840. (PTI)
