Coriander, turmeric fall on muted demand

NEW DELHI, June 17: Coriander and turmeric prices fell by Rs 100 per quintal in the national capital today on low demand from retailers and stockists amid adequate stocks position.

Coriander and turmeric prices drifted lower by Rs 100 each to conclude at Rs 5,800-11,800 and Rs 6,500-9,700 per quintal, respectively.

Marketmen said sluggish demand from retailers and stockists against increased arrivals from producing belts, mainly pulled down coriander and turmeric prices.
