Refer to news item `Jammu University scholars bring laurels to State’ published in April 10, 2013 edition of the Excelsior, Dr Arashdeep Singh has clarified that he had secured second rank in Indian Forest Service (IFS) examinations in the year 2011.
He said no one has topped the IFS examination from the State so far and, therefore, his rank remained the highest till now i.e. even after declaration of the latest results. Dr Singh has been allotted Jammu and Kashmir cadre and is presently undergoing training at National Forest Academy, Dehradun. The error is regretted.
