UDHAMPUR, Oct 30: Fulfilling the pending demands of the people, five newly constructed vertical umbrella lights were inaugurated by Councillor Priti Khajuria in Ward No. 1 here today.
Inaugurating the lights, Priti Khajuria said that Domel Chowk is the main square of the city but got recognized by the councillors and today the Chowk has become a center of attraction.
She said that earlier a fountain was built in the square, after that at the end of the year, seven statues depicting the Dandi March were installed and now vertical umbrella lights were installed, due to which this area was beautified and the city also got an identity.
Priti said that it is the duty of a public representative to work for public as well as for development of area they represent.
On this occasion, distinguished citizens and shopkeepers of the area were present.
