JAMMU, Dec 21: BJP State secretary & local Councillor from the Ward No. 41, Sanjay Baru conducted extensive tour of the lanes and by-lanes of Anand Nagar along with the officials of Construction Wing of Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) to take stock of the situation of the lanes.
Locals also presented their issues before the local Councillor for the resolution of their problems. Baru listened to the grievances of the residents like drinking water, electricity, sanitation etc. He assured them that all necessary steps will be taken to address their genuine concerns.
Sanjay Baru further said that the PM Modi led Government has touched the lives of millions through public centric schemes, like Ayushman Bharat Scheme and given the benefit to more than 50 percent of population in nation in one or another scheme. He said that the love and affection shown by the general masses in every election, particularly referring to the recent performance of BJP in Urban Local Bodies (ULBs) and Panchayat elections in Jammu which has strengthened the hands of BJP leaders and empowered the party to work effectively for the welfare of the masses.
Baru, while assessing situation of the lanes, said that in winters, the blacktopping work cannot be done due to the technical reasons, but the other issues will be immediately taken care of. The estimates of tile and other works were immediately done on the spot by the JMC officials. He asked the JMC officials to take immediate steps for the redressal of the issues of the residents.
