Councillor Sobat Ali takes stock of problems in Sainik Colony

JAMMU, July 5: Senior leader of Democratic Progressive Azad Party (DPAP) and Councillor of Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC), Sobat Ali of Ward number 74 here today took stock of problems in Sainik Colony, Extension-D, Indira Enclave and adjoining areas of his Ward.
Locals of the area informed the Councillor about blockage of drains and non-functional street lights.
They also raised the issue of overflowing of drains in rainy days which cause problems for the pedestrians.
While addressing the locals, the Councillor said that he will take the problems of the public to concerned officers for a quick redressal.
He asked the people of the area to cooperate with the JMC in keeping the area clean and urged for avoiding use of polythene in routine affairs.
Sobat Ali further asked the locals to use the services of garbage collecting auto visiting door-to-door and avoid throwing domestic wastes here and there.
JMC JE, Karan Gupta; PDD Lineman, Majid Ahmed; Municipal Supervisor, Fazal Hussain and prominent locals including Varun Mahajan, Hardeep Singh, Col. Deva and others were also present on the occasion.
