Councillor starts bathroom repair work

JAMMU, Nov 21: Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) Councillor, Amit Gupta along with Mahant Rajesh Bittu here today started bathroom work in Ward-19 (Bikram Chowk) which will incur an expenditure of Rs. 11 lakh.
The bathroom was in bad shape since long and there were repeated demands for its repair and facelift.
Speaking on the occasion the JMC Councillor appealed general public to come forward and cooperate with JMC in various development works undertaken by it within Jammu city.
He urged upon the residents to avoid single use plastic and polythene in routine work and refrain from throwing debris, garbage and filth in lanes and drains.
Gupta also asked the people to adopt the habit of segregation of dry and wet garbage at their own level so that Jammu can be made neat and clean city.
Ex-En, AEE, JEE, locals of the area including Raj Kumar, Babu Ram, Vijay Kumar, Sanjay Kumar, Gopal Kumar, Arun Singh and others were also present on the occasion.
