Councillor starts drain work in Ward-14

JAMMU, July 15: Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) Councillor, Parmodh Kapahi today started drain work at Bhagwati Nagar in Ward-14 with estimated cost of Rs five lakhs, here today.
The drain is in dilapidated condition since long and the residents of the ward are facing lot of problems.
The Councillor appealed the general public to come forward and cooperate with the JMC in various development works undertaken by the department within the Jammu city.
He urged upon the residents to avoid using single used plastics, polythene in their routine work and don’t throw debris, garbage filth etc in the public drains, lanes and nallahs.
