Councillor starts drain work in Ward 6

JAMMU, Sept 29: Municipal Committee Akhnoor’s Councillor, Rakesh Malhotra started today drain work in Raja Bazaar, from Tokia Cloth House to Radha Krishan Mandir in Ward 6.
On this occasion, former chairman MC Akhnoor and Councillors including Depesh Singh, Deepak Manni, Shilpa Mahajan and many others were present during the event.
While addressing the media person, the Councillor said that the central drain work including slab work and gratings would be completed with an estimated cost of Rs 40 lacs. He further said that this drain is a common drain which connects three wards including 4, 5 and 6. “However, the project cost is Rs 1.47 crores but some works are already completed and some are in progress,” Rakesh Malhotra said.
