JAMMU, Oct 7: JMC Councillor Sham Lal Basson started drains works at New Basti Bahu Fort with an estimated cost of Rs five lacs, here today.
While speaking to media persons, the Councillor said that it was a long pending demand of people of New Basti/ Bazigar Basti and also assured that tile works of two lanes will be taken up very soon.
He appealed to the locals to avoid use of single plastic and don’t throw polythene and garbage in the open drains. Sham Basson also directed the Safai Karamchari and supervising staff to keep the area of Bahu fort neat and clean.
Dr Khalid JE, Adv Sudershan Kumar, Joginder Kumar, Sham Kalsi, Mangat Kalsi and many others were present during the event.
