JAMMU, Nov 9: Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) Councillor, Ritu Choudhary and Father Kuriya Kose here today started footpath tile work at Prem Nagar in Ward 7.
The footpath tiles were in dilapidated condition since long and residents of the area especially elders were facing a lot of problems while passing through these paths.
Speaking on the occasion Ritu Choudhary asked the general public to come forward and co-operate JMC in various development works undertaken by the Corporation within Jammu city.
She urged upon the locals to avoid single use plastic and polythene in routine work and refrain from throwing debris, garbage filth etc in public drains and lanes.
Choudhary stressed upon adopting the habit of segregation of dry and wet garbage at individual level by the households so that Jammu can be made neat, clean and a beautiful city.
Many locals and others were present on the occasion.
