JAMMU, July 17: Independent Councillor of Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC), Sham Lal Basson submitted a memorandum of demands to J&K LG through Divisional Commissioner Jammu.
The memorandum highlighted problem of water supply in Bahu Fort area.
Basson claimed that pipes in the area are damaged and need replacement.
He also said that he met Advisors to LG and other senior officers in the administration but nothing fruitful resulted.
The Councillor demanded upgradation of ground at Government Higher Secondary School Bahu Fort to mini-stadium level and reconstruction of Poonch Basti and Rajeev Nagar Nallahs because these Nallahs overflow in rainy days causing damage to nearby houses.
Basson also demanded shrine board for historic Bawe Wali Mata temple.
His other demand was shifting of tehsil headquarter of Bahu to Bahu Fort.
