Councillors, Sarpanch raise issues

JAMMU, May 28: Councillors representing six wards of Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) of Talab Tillo area and an elected Sarpanch from Gole Gujral Panchayat today held a meeting in Bohri area, in which various issues pertaining to the masses were discussed at length.
The meeting was attended by Sonika Sharma, representative of Ward number 30; Sucha Singh (Ward no. 31), Sat Pal Karlupia (Ward no. 32), Neelam Nargotra ( Ward no. 40), Sanjay Kumar Baru (Ward no. 41), Mohinder Kumar ( Ward no. 61) and Sarpanch Gole Gujral PrithPal Singh.
During the meeting, the local representatives have raised the developmental issues including widening of main Talab Tillo road from the Canal Head to Patta Chungi, construction of community hall at Estate land near Poonch House, beautification of irrigation escape and small canals etc.
They also demanded a new Police station and two police posts which will cover the areas of Gole Panjpeer, Munshi Chack, Camp Gole Gujral, Bohri Patta Palora, Udheywala and its adjoining areas.
