JAMMU, July 14: Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) Councilor, Amit Gupta today started construction works of lanes, drains and laying of tiles at Prem Nagar Mohalla in Ward number 19 at an expenditure of Rs. 6.5 lakh.
Speaking on the occasion, Gupta said that Jammu East Constituency has progressed a lot as far as development and construction of lanes-drains and other works are concerned.
He said that construction of lanes, drains and laying of tiles was a long pending demand of the locals of Prem Nagar.
The Councilor assured the locals of the Ward that pending works will also be taken on priority in coming days.
Parshotam, Raj Kumar, Madhu, Parveen Kumar, Chuni, Biki Kumar and others were also present on the occasion.
