BHADERWAH, May 15: Three persons including a couple got injured, when the Alto car they were traveling in plummeted into gorge near Manthala here today.
The ill-fated vehicle bearing registration number JK06-7945 was on its way from Malani to Bhaderwah, when the driver failed to negotiate a sharp curve and the car landed into 100 feet deep gorge near Manthala, resulting into injuries to three persons including a woman.
After getting information, police and locals rushed to the spot and shifted the injured to Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Bhaderwah and later airlifted to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) Jammu for advanced treatment.
The injured have been identified as Sanjeev Kumar, son of Behari Lal, Behari Lal, son of Ghambir Chand and Darshana Devi, wife of Sanjeev Kumar, all residents of Malani Manthala.
A case in this regard has been registered at concerned police station and investigation started.
