REASI, Jan 4: A couple among three persons were injured in two separate road accidents, here today.
Reports said that a couple sustained critical injuries when their Maruti car rolled down into a deep gorge at Kala Morh near Simbal Choi in Reasi this morning. The injured, identified as Premu and his wife Kartaro Devi of Serli, were shifted to Government Medical College Jammu in view of their serious condition.
In a separate road accident, driver of a Tata Mobile was critically injured when his vehicle was hit by an Army truck at Dab Khalsa near Bhambla under the jurisdiction of Police Station Pouni.
The Tata Mobile, bearing registration number JK08D-0629, was on way from Jammu to Pouni while the Army truck was going to Sunderbani from Udhampur. The injured driver, identified as Vicky Kumar, son of Rattan Lal of Hari Chak Kathua, was shifted to PHC Pouni where doctors referred him to GMC Hospital Jammu in view of his critical condition.
Meanwhile, a labourer was injured after he fell in a deep gorge at Danga Kot in Bhamaag area of Reasi. He was identified as Mohd Imtiaz, son of Mohd Din of Batmaloo, Srinagar and has been shifted to GMC Hospital Jammu for treatment.
