JAMMU, Sept 29: A couple was booked today by Bahu Fort police under Juvenile Justice Act.
Acting on the complaint of Shalini Sharma, Chairperson, Child Welfare Committee, Jammu that one couple namely Mushtaq and Razia, resident of Doda, had brought a 10-year-old girl from Doda to Bhatindi, Jammu on the pretext of providing education to her but instead of enrolling her in any school they used to make her work whole day and beat her often, a case FIR Number 317/21 U/S 323/506 IPC, 75/79 J J Act was registered at police station Bahu Fort.
Further investigation of the case was going on.
