RAJOURI, Feb 13: A couple was held from Sunderbani area here on Monday with 12 litres of the illicit liquor, police said.
They said that Ravi Kumar and Shama Devi, both residents of Kangri Tehsil Beripattan were arrested by a police party of Sunderbani headed by HC Mohammad Maqbool.
A scooty used by the accused to transport the illicit liquor has also been seized, police said.
The duo has been booked in case FIR number 09/2023 under section 48(a) of the Excise Act registered at Police Station Sunderbani.
