JAMMU, July 29: A couple was injured due to Chinese thread, police sources said.
As per police sources, a couple identified as Rakesh Kumar and his wife Rajni, residents of Kathar, was injured after coming in contact with Chinese thread while riding on a motorcycle.
Both the injured were shifted to hospital and are under treatment, when last reports came in.
Police have taken cognizance in this regard.
Meanwhile, the people said that despite ban on the sale of this dreaded Chinese thread, no action has been initiated against the shopkeepers, who are selling this thread.
They demanded action against the shopkeepers, who are indulged in selling these dreaded Chinese thread rolls.
