RAMBAN, Oct 19: A couple was injured in accident inside Banihal-Qazigund tunnel here today.
As per police sources, an army vehicle hit a scooty bearing registration number JK02CG-8395 inside Banihal-Qazigund tunnel here near Banihal, resulting into injuries to a couple.
After getting information, police team rushed to the spot and shifted the injured persons to Sub District Hospital (SDH) Banihal, where they were undergoing treatment, when last reports came in.
The injured were identified as Mohammad Yousaf, son of Sadiq Ali of Nagrota Bye Pass District Jammu and his wife Safoora Begum.
A case under relevant Sections has been registered at Police Station Banihal and investigation started.
