JAMMU, May 10: A couple was injured in a road accident occurred today in Janipur area of city outskirts.
As per Police sources, a car driven in a rash and negligent manner by an unknown person today hit a motorcycle at Muthi morh near Police naka and injured a couple riding on it.
They said the injured couple identified as Suresh Kumar Sharma (54) son of Chunni Lal Sharma, resident of Butta Nagar (Lower Roop Nagar) and Vandana Dutta (47) were immediately rushed to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.
Janipur Police had taken cognizance of the matter.
