UDHAMPUR, Nov 7: The Sher-e-Kashmir Police Academy (SKPA) initiated a five-day course today, designed to equip 17 investigating officers with the knowledge and skills necessary for the intricate world of anti-corruption investigations.
A statement said that the course aimed at delving into the complexities of anti-corruption probes, focusing on understanding various forms of corruption and the associated legal frameworks.
In his address during the inaugural function, SSP Rajinder Kumar Gupta, Deputy Director of SKPA, underscored the importance of investigating anti-corruption cases as a means to restore faith, protect public resources, and ultimately enhance the well-being of citizens.
He emphasized the need to create a culture where corruption is not tolerated and highlighted that the work of these officers is a service to society.
Gupta pointed out that each case they investigate carries the potential to induce positive change and serve as a deterrent to those engaging in corrupt practices.
Guest faculty members from the Anti-Corruption Bureau J&K, CID, and FSL have been invited to share their knowledge and experiences on various topics related to anti-corruption investigations.
Inspector Sandeep Mahajan would be coordinating the course with assistance from HC Randip Singh.
