JAMMU, Oct 13: A local court today rejected the bail application of Amit Dogra, a gym trainer in alleged kidnapping of a girl.
After hearing Senior PO Rohit Gupta for the State, the CJM observed, “a bare perusal of the police report transpires that the accused is involved in case FIR No. 129/18 P/S Bakshi Nagar, Jammu for the commission of offences under Sections 366/109 RPC”.
“The occurrence is alleged to have been taken place on 18.05.2018 and initially the missing report was lodged by the complainant which ultimately was converted into the lodging of the instant FIR. The investigation is at its infancy and the victim has not been recovered so far. There are serious allegations against the applicant”, the court said, adding “taking into consideration the nature and gravity of the offence and seriousness of the allegations against the applicant the accused is not entitled to bail at this stage”.
