JAMMU, Mar 22: Principal Sessions Judge Jammu Kartar Singh today rejected the bail application of Mohd Riyaz and Mushtaq Ahmed, who were involved in the much publicized employment scam and duping crores of rupees from innocent unemployed youth.
After hearing Advocate Ayjaz Lone for the accused persons whereas CPO Kulbushan Sharma for the Crime Branch, Principal Sessions Judge Kartar Singh observed, “perusal of CD file reveals that the investigation is still at initial stage and employment scam of crores of rupees in Railway Department has been unearthed”, adding “all those persons who were party to this criminal conspiracy are to be arrested”.
“In view of seriousness and heinousness of offence, no ground for grant of bail in anticipation of arrest has been made out by the petitioners”, the court said.
With these observations, Court rejected the bail applications of Mohd Riyaz, son of Rahim Ali and Mushtaq Ahmed, son of Mir Mohd, both residents of Rajouri.
