JAMMU, May 2: Sub-Judge Jammu Pawan Kumar Sharma has rejected the bail application of one Sunit Sharma, son of Prabhdayal of Khrawali in Jammu district, who had stolen Rs 70000 from the house of his close relative.
After hearing Advocate Bushan Singh Charak for the applicant whereas Senior PO Puja Nijhon for the State, Sub-Judge observed, “the fact that accused and complainant are close relatives has shaken my conscious and offence became more grave because it is not only theft but the faith in the relatives has also shaken. The amount involved in the case is huge and no recovery has yet been made”.
“Under these circumstances, no leniency can be shown to the accused and the application in hand is dismissed”, the court said.
