JAMMU, Dec 2: Principal Sessions Judge Jammu, R S Jain today rejected the bail application of one Mohd Tahir, who was allegedly involved in kidnapping case.
The accused was arrested on November 15, 2014 by Domana Police under Sections 366/109 RPC.
After hearing both the sides, court observed, “as per the police report, petitioner Mohd Tahir had assisted the main accused in the kidnapping of the girl Sumakshi Koul, who is yet to be recovered”.
“Looking to the serious nature of the offence alleged against the petitioner and that the girl is yet to be recovered and the investigation being at early stage, this court is of the view that no good ground has been made out by the petitioner for being enlarged on bail”, Principal Sessions Judge said and dismissed the bail application.
