JAMMU, July 29: Special Judge CBI Bala Joyti today rejected the bail application of Yatin Yadev, who was arrested by Enforcement Directorate in the much publicized Sub Inspector Recruitment Scam.
After hearing Asheesh Singh Kotwal for the applicant whereas Special PP Ashwani Khajuria for the ED, Special Judge observed, “after consideration of material on record in its entirety and to the nature of the allegations and gravity of the accusation and also stage of investigation, to my mind investigating agency must be given sufficient time in conducting analyzed and effective investigation”.
“This court is of firm opinion that application being devoid of any legal force & premature is not maintainable at this stage as investigation is incomplete as yet, and at its infancy besides many important witnesses are yet to be examined by ED”, the court said.
