JAMMU, July 25: A Forest Court today directed the SHO General Bus Stand Jammu to enquire a case pertaining to a youth who went missing on March 17, 2007 and for which the police was intimated.
This court direction came after father of the missing youth appeared before the court and sought proceedings under Section 156 (3) CrPC about the whereabouts of his missing son for which a missing report was lodged with GBS Police Station on March 17, 2007, but the police did not proceed to locate the missing youth.
According to the complainant Garu Ram, his son Avinash Dogra, R/o House No. 19, JMC Mohalla Ahata Chopra, B C Road, went missing since March 17, 2007. A missing report was also lodged with Police Station General Bus Stand, but no action was taken by police after that which compelled the complainant to seek remedy from the court.
