JAMMU, Dec 2: Forest Magistrate Adnan Sayed has directed the SSP Crime Branch to investigate the complaint alleging that a Lecturer in the Education Department has managed appointment on fake SC certificate.
In the complaint filed by one Puran Singh of village Panhar tehsil Kalakote it has been mentioned that one Mohinder Singh, son of Om Parkash of village Pari has managed appointment as Lecturer in Education Department on alleged fake Schedule Caste certificate.
“Mohinder Singh belongs to Rajput community but in order to get a Government job he managed fictitious certificate under Schedule Caste category. In the certificate it is wrongly mentioned that Mohinder Singh belong to Basit caste which is defined as SC category under SRO 295 of 2005”, the complainant said.
After hearing complainant along with his counsel, the Forest Magistrate forwarded the complaint to SSP Crime Branch for investigation and proceedings under law.
