JAMMU, Mar 19: Sub-Judge Special Mobile Magistrate, R K Abrol has framed Robkar against Incharge Police Post Chatha and directed the SDPO Gandhi Nagar to investigate the complaint against him and other officials of the Police Post.
The direction was issued in a complaint filed by Sunil Kumar, who has submitted that he was mercilessly beaten up by Incharge Police Post Chatha SI Krishan Raina, driver of police vehicle Vicky and three PSOs recently.
On this complaint, a notice was issued to the Incharge Police Post Chatha for personal appearance but he didn’t turn up inspite of various wireless messages. “Apparently, Incharge Police Post Chatha has the knowledge of pendency of this complaint against him but he is deliberately avoiding his personal appearance to escape consequences of law”, the court observed.
With these observations, the court framed Robkar against SI Krishan Raina. About the grievances of the complainant, the court directed SDPO Gandhi Nagar to investigate the matter and submit compliance report within 15 days.
