UDHAMPUR, Dec 3: Judicial Magistrate 1st Class, Ramnagar, has rejected the bail application of a rape accused.
The accused, namely Parshotam Singh, is allegedly involved in commission of offences in case FIR no.126/2016 U/S 376/382/341/323 R.P.C.
The Judicial Magistrate , Renu Dogra, after hearing both sides, observed that the accused is said to have committed an offence of rape on girl and if he is enlarged on bail, it will have an adverse affect on the public at large. The peace loving citizens like the complainant and her parents will scare about the safety and welfare of their daughter, the Magistrate added.
The court further observed that severity of the crime alleged to have been committed by the accused, the supporting evidence and all other connected facts to justify an inference that the applicant/accused may misuse the concession of bail to escape the dragnet of law and once that possibility cannot be extended there are so many aggravating circumstances, which disentitle the applicant/accused from claiming the concession of bail. With these observations court rejected the bail applications.
