JAMMU, Sept 4: Railway Magistrate Jammu Yahaya Firdous today withheld the salary of SSP Anantnag and SHO concerned for not honouring the court orders.
The court vide order dated 17.07.2018 had issued summon against the accused Syed Farid Ahmed and directed SSP Anantnag and SHO concerned to ensure that summon is executed.
It was also mentioned in the order that in case of failure the court would be constrained to pass order against SSP Anantnag and SHO concerned for the reason that court had already issued various summons to the accused in the past with the direction to SSP Anantnag and SHO concerned to ensure the execution of the same but neither the SSP Anantnag nor the SHO concerned paid any heed to the court orders.
Expressing displeasure over continuous non-compliance, the court today ordered withholding of salary of SSP Anantnag and SHO concerned directed and District Treasury Officer Anantnag not to honor the personal pay bill of SSP Anantnag and in case the bill is presented in some other treasury, District Treasury Officer Anantnag shall transmit this order to the concerned treasury.
Court also directed SSP Anantnag to withhold the pay of SHO concerned till further order.
