Courts closed till May 17

SRINAGAR, May 3: The High Court today extended the closure of access to all court complexes in J&K UT and Ladakh including both wings of High Court during lockdown period till May 17 as already announced by the Government of India.
The order vide no. 1608/GS dated 3.5.2020 in this connection was issued by the Registrar General (Officiating) of J&K High Court today in view of preventive measure to contain spread of COVID-19 after the decision taken by the Full Court headed by Chief Justice.
The order read that in view of the extension of lockdown period up to May 17 to prevent the spread of COVID-19, the circular No 10/GS dated 23.3.2020 pertaining to the closure of access to both wings of High Court and all court complexes in J&K and Ladakh UTs the High Court of Jammu and Kashmir are further extended up to May17.
Court has already issued such circulars on March 10, 13, 16, 20, 23 and 29 in order to extend the closure of access to both wings of High Court in view of spread of COVID-19.
