JAMMU, Nov 5: The J&K Khidmat Centres Association, has urged upon the concerned authorities to covert these centres into ultra small branches of the J&K Bank.
Addressing a press conference here today, the members of the Association pointed out that over 1300 professionals are rendering their services to the J&K bank and assisting their customers in big way since 2009. These Centres were established by the J&K Bank after proper selection and panel interviews. It is unfortunate that due to negative attitude of the J&K bank authorities, the career of these professionals is being jeopardized by some people in the J&K Bank. Click here to watch video
They alleged that some people in the Bank have reduced them to slaves and their career has been put at stake. Their dream of becoming successful entrepreneurs has been shattered due to negative attitude of some top Bank officials .
They claimed that many Khidmat Centres have been opened in the Bank premises and these youth are rendering their best services to the people/ customers. They were promised during 2012 that these centres will be converted into ultra bank branches but nothing has happened till today. They were only given false assurances. They also demanded that professionals of the Khidmat Centres should be given reservation in the J&K Bank jobs as they are rendering their services since long and have sound knowledge of its operations.
They also demanded release of their GAP support ( financial assistance) from the IT department. They alleged that the same has not been released in their favour since long due to reason known to the people at the helm of affairs.
Referring to the recent interview of the Governor regarding J&K Bank jobs issue, they said that even the case of Khidmat centres lies in the manipulated and mismanaged category and need correction and probe. They said the services rendred by these centres/ professionals are needed to be recognized.
