JAMMU, May 14: Former MLA Ramban and Senior Congress leader, Ashok Kumar has claimed that COVID can only be defeated with facts and science.
In a handout he said that time has come to stick only to science as superstition, religious beliefs etc can’t work against the virus.
Kumar demanded a new grand vaccination scheme and involvement of volunteers and local organizations in relief efforts.
He said that government has to show broad and open mindedness as it has become imperative for the government to opt for a paradigm shift and change in the narrative.
The Congress leader further said that government of India should re-strengthen the health infrastructure in rural areas.
He demanded financial incentives for all the frontline warriors who are daily risking their lives.
