CPI’s regional council meet held

JAMMU, June 1: The regional conference of the Communist Party of India was held here today.
While speaking at the inaugural occasion, National Council secretary of the CPI Shamim Faizee congratulated the people for their response to the call for country wide protest against the recent petrol hike and asserted that Left will continue its struggle for the same. He also spoke on the political resolution adopted by party leaders/delegates during the 21st CPI Congress held Patna recently. He alleged that most of the political parties adopted wrong policies providing maximum benefit to the Corporate sector and they never thought about the poor and middle class people and workers of this country. There is open loot of the national wealth and those responsible for loot and plunder are moving freely. The rising prices of petrol, diesel, LPG and other essentials has made life of the people miserable.
N K Dogra presided over the function and also raised issues concerning the general public under present political and economic scenario. A rally from Press Club was also taken out by the CPI activists. Sayed Aziz Pasha Ex- MP and Naresh Munsi also addressed the activists. They also cleared stand of the party on the report of interlocutors on Kashmir.
