SRINAGAR, June 1: Chief Postmaster General, John Samuel today dedicated modernized Post Office to the people of Brein, Nishat, a spokesperson of the General Post Office said here.
A statement issued by the postal services said that the Post Office has been modernised with latest facilities for customers with good seating arrangements.
“The Post Office will provide all postal services like Letter Post, Post Shop, Savings Bank and Insurance facilities. It will serve people living on the banks of Dal Lake. Post Shop will provide stationery and packaging material to customers. Also, high quality saffron will be sold at the Post Office,” the statement said.
He added that in the days to come, Post Offices at Charar-e-Sharief, Batwara and Court Road will be modernised.
Jagdeep Gupta, Showkat Ahmad Parrey, ACAO J&K and G. R. Parrey, SSPO Srinagar postal division were also present on the occasion. G. R. Parrey, presented the welcome address.
